Man took onions instead of sweets to in-law’s house

Onion is one of the essential spices in cooking. As the price of it rises, the importance has increased. Many are giving onions as a gift to the festival. On the other hand, many people are found bringing onions in luggage on the way back from abroad.

This time it has been an exceptional event. A man has made new talks as he went to father-in-law’s house with 12kg onion instead of sweetmeat like before.

The episode took place in Abul Quashem’s house on Friday in Dhamrai, Savar. On this night, his son-in-law Sheikh Md. Rajab Ali went to his house in Atullarchar village of Dhamrai. At that time, he did not bring sweet or fruits from the market and took 12 kg of onion in the box.

Meanwhile, people in the father-in-law were surprised to see the onion after unfolded the packet. People in the house are happy with the gift of son-in-law. Everyone appreciated his intelligence.

Contextually, onions are currently selling at Tk 220 to 250 per kg on the market. One week ago onions were sold at Tk 120 per kg.
