Mahmudul Hasan Faisal, a youth from Magura, has been added in the Guinness World Records for the 7th and 8th time for his charisma with the ball.
He set two records by rotating football “66 times in just 30 seconds” and “68 times in 30 seconds”. He received the certificate issued by the Guinness World Records, confirmed Faisal to the media.
Mahmudul Hasan Faisal, a resident of Hajipur village in sadar upazila and a student of Magura Polytechnic Institute, has also been recorded earlier by rotating football and basketball.
Faisal set his last record by rotating the football on his arm 68 times in 30 seconds in September. The Guinness Book of Records has acknowledged him for that record.
Faisal said he has loved sports since childhood. He wanted to be a cricketer, however, it did not happen due to various obstacles. Then he started playing football. While playing, he started experimenting with football. That’s when he came up with different strategies to set a record.
“Everyone in the family, including my grandparents, has supported me,” Faisal said. “My dream is to appear in front of everyone with 25 such certificates. I want to represent my village, district and Bangladesh to the whole world. My only wish now is to meet the Prime Minister.”
Faisal’s father Sohail Rana said Faisal was very interested in sports since childhood. However, he has worked tirelessly for this record. Even his education has “hampered” a lot. Even then I encouraged him. We are very happy with his success.
“Faisal’s 7th and 8th records make us proud,” said Maqbul Hossain, general secretary of the Magura District Sports Association. “We are ready to support him in the future.”
