Madhupur youth tested negative for Coronavirus

The young man who died of fever and breathing problem in Madhupur, Tangail, was not suffering from coronavirus. 

Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) report said the man tested negative for the coronavirus and the lockdown of the adjoining house, including the deceased's house, was lifted. 

The youth is identified as a resident of Tikka Bazar village in the Upazila. 

Upazila administration, local public representative, said the young man used to work in a betel leaf shop in front of a garment factory in Dhaka. Came home with a fever last Sunday. The matter was kept secret by his family. He suffered from diarrhoea on Monday and died on Tuesday after vomiting of blood. After the death, news spread that he had died of coronavirus infection. 

The IEDDCR-trained physician team went to the home of the young man and collect samples to test whether he had died of coronavirus but he tested negative for the coronavirus. 

UNO Arifa Zahura said the young man was found negative for coronavirus and lockdown also lifted.
