MP Fizar elected for seventh consecutive terms

Advocate Mostafizur Rahman Fizar, MP has been elected for the seventh consecutive terms in Dinajpur-5 (Fulbari-Parbatipur) constituency in the 11th parliamentary elections.

This year Mostafizur Rahman Fizar elected unofficially getting 1,88,680 votes. His nearest rival, Sheaf of Paddy’s candidate AZM Rezwanul Haq got 1,28,567 votes. Fizar has been elected for seventh consecutive times as the only freedom fighter of Bangladesh differing 60,113 votes. Earlier, he was elected in 1986, 1991, 1996, 2001, 2008, and 2014.
