MMCH counts three fatalities with COVID symptoms

Three people died with COVID symptoms in the last 24 hours at the COVID unit of Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH), however, no one died of Covid-19.

Dr. Mohiuddin Khan Moon, a spokesperson of MMCH’s COVID unit, confirmed the information on Saturday morning, saying that among the deceased two were from Mymensingh and one from Netrokona. Besides, among the dead are two were male and one female.

With the latest figure, a total of 88 people died of Covid-19 and its symptoms in the current month in MMCH, Dr. Moon also said.

Dr. Moon added that 58 patients, including 11 new patients, are currently hospitalized at the COVID unit, three of them are in ICU. Besides, two people were discharged after recovery.

Civil Surgeon Nazrul Islam said 134 samples were tested in the last 24 hours, however, no COVID patients were detected.
