Jomel Warrican, Rakheem Cornwall and Kraigg Brathwaite picked up seven wickets between them to leave the host in the bay in Dhaka Test.

Bangladesh were 156 for 7, still requiring 75 more runs to level the series. Miraz 1 and Taijul 3 were in the batting.

In pursuit of a tricky target of 231, Bangladesh's openers took the aggressive route. Tamim Iqbal in particular essayed a flurry of drives, lofts, cuts, and the reverse sweep. However, against the run of play, Sarkar fell to Brathwaite with Cornwall pouching a sharp catch. Initially, the loud appeal was turned down but the West Indies got it reversed via the DRS.

Despite losing his batting partner, Tamim didn't change his approach and brought up his fifty with a boundary off Cornwall. Unfortunately for the home side, in the very next over, Tamim chipped one to Sheyne Moseley at short cover, with the fielder pouching a fine catch. To make matters worse for the hosts, Najmul Shanto too was dismissed on the brink of tea, inside-edging one from Cornwall to short-leg. Bangladesh were 78 for 3, still requiring 153 more runs to level the series.

After tea, Mominul Haque and Mushfiqur Rahim added 23 runs in the 4th wickets stand but Mushfiqur falls to Warrican scoring 14 runs. When Bangladesh were 101. Mohammad Mithun also went out early to Cornwall scoring 10 runs.

Mominul and Liton Das added 32 runs in the 6th wickets stand. Mominul (26) dismissed by Warrican. It was full, outside off from Warrican and Mominul shuffled across, tries to defend. It turns in, takes the inside edge, and flies to Cornwall at backward short leg! Warrican coming into play this innings 147/6.

Liton Das, 22, was removed by Cornwall. It was good length outside off, width offered to cut. Edged into the keeper's gloves!
