Bangladesh lost opener Liton Das in the last over of power play and Shakib Al Hasan in the 4th ball of the 8th over of the innings as they are batting first against Sri Lanka in their first Super 12 Group 1 match.

Till this report, Bangladesh were 72/2. Naim 40off 34 and Mushfiqur Rahim 4 off 5 were in the batting scoring run respectively.

Liton (16 off 16) tries to go over the top and isn't able to clear the mid-off fielder who takes a good catch over his head. Shanaka is the fielder.

Shakib was in good touch today but could not prolonge his innings. Shakib backs away from his leg trying to flick over the leg side but Karunaratne bowls the perfect delivery clipping the top of leg stump. He sprints away into the covers making 100% sure to not be anywhere near Shakib after the unsavory incident following the first wicket.

Earlier, Sri Lanka have won the toss and asked Bangladesh to bat first in their first super 12 Group 1 match at Sharjah, UAE.

Sri Lanka made one change. Maheesh Theekshana is not fit. Binura Fernando comes in for him.
