Light to moderate rain likely

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur over the country in the last 24 hours ending tomorrow at 9:00 am, said the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) in a weather bulletin.
The BMD weather bulletin says light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions; at a few places over Dhaka, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur and Khulna divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country.
Besides, day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may fall slightly over the country during the period.
A trough of low has been lying over West Bengal and adjoining area, for this, the low has extended upto North Bay.
The country’s maximum temperature recorded 36.8°C yesterday at Kutubdia in Chattogram division and Dinajpur in Rangpur while today’s minimum temperature recorded 24.2°C at Jashore in Khulna division.
Today’s sunset will be at 6:43 pm and Tomorrow’s sunrise will be at 5:11 am.
