Legendary actress Rhonda Fleming dies

Rhonda Fleming, the green-eyed, auburn-haired actress who was known as the Queen of Technicolor during Hollywood’s Golden Age has died in Santa Monica, California on October 14. She was 97.

Fleming’s assistant Carla Sapon confirmed the news of her death to the media.

She starred in more than 40 films during the golden age of Hollywood. Ronda Fleming was very popular not only acting but also as a vocalist.

In 1950, she released a song album with Four Girls. After getting a good response, she released an album of classic love songs with Beryl Davis titled 'Ronda'.

After retiring from acting, she spent time in cancer centers, building homes for the homeless, and educating disadvantaged children. People from all around the world including Hollywood mourned in her death.

Among her famous movies include 'Spellbound', 'Out of the Past', 'The Spiral Staircase', 'When Strangers Marry', 'Pony Express', The Great Lover and 'The Big Circus'.
