A deadly explosion occurred near the Lebanese capital, Beirut, as a result, the Bangladesh Embassy in the country has launched a helpline there. Bangladeshis have been requested to contact the helpline to report the casualties in the blast and inquire about the victims.

This information has been confirmed in a statement from the Bangladesh Embassy on Wednesday, saying that two powerful explosions rocked the Lebanese capital, Beirut, around 6:00 pm on Tuesday. “Hospital sources confirmed that two Bangladeshis died in the incident,” the statement said.
