Lawsuit appealed against Al Jazeera’s Sami, 3 others

A lawsuit has been appealed against four people, including Al Jazeera’s Sami, for anti-national activities and allegedly plotting a coup to overthrow the legitimate government.
Bangabandhu Foundation president Abdul Malek alias Mashiur Malek filed the petition in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ashek Imam on Wednesday.
Mashiur Malek, the plaintiff in the case, confirmed the matter.
The accused in the case are – Mostefa Souag, director general of Al Jazeera television, David Bergman, a UK resident, Zulkarnain Shayer Khan alias Sami and Tasnim Khalil, editor of Netra News.
