Last tribute to Aly Zaker at Liberation War Museum

The body of Aly Zaker has been taken to the Liberation War Museum in the capital on Friday to pay the last tribute to the Ekushey Padak awardee cultural figure of the country. There the Bir Freedom Fighter has been given a guard of honor by the Dhaka district administration.

His body was taken to the Liberation War Museum at 11:30 am. At this time, eminent people of the country’s art, culture and theater have come to pay their last respects to Aly Zaker.

It is to be noted that Aly Zaker has been battling cancer for the past four years. He was admitted to United Hospital in the capital on November 15 and was undergoing treatment at CCU. The cultural figure breathed his last at 6:40 am on Friday. He was 76 years old. He is survived by his wife Sara Zaker, son Iresh Zaker, daughter Sriya Sharbojoya.
