Masudur Rahman Laden, the young boy who was born without arms, has passed the SSC examination by writing with the mouth! Laden is the son of Saheb Ali of Nagergati village of Durgapur upazila in Netrokona. He appeared before the SSC examination from Nabarun High School of the upazila and secured GPA-3.67.

Laden had a keen interest in education from an early age. As he was born without arms he has to suffer much to cope with other students. But in the end, Laden was admitted to the school relying on his will power. At first, he tried to write with his feet, but as he got older, he started writing with his mouth. In this way, he passed PEC, JSC and now SSC examination. Besides studying, Laden can play cricket or football well.

Masudur Rahman Laden said, "I took part in the SSC examination well by the will of Almighty Allah and have been able to achieve such results. My parents, teachers and classmates have always encouraged me to follow this path. Thanks to their overall cooperation and encouragement, I have been able to come to this stage. Everyone will pray for me so that I can do something better in the future."

Laden's father, Saheb Ali said, "I was very worried about the boy as he had no arms from birth. We had faced many insults because of my son’s disabilities. But teachers have cooperated overall to continue his studies."

Durgapur UNO Farzana Khanam said that good results have come because of Laden's self-will. I hope that his future path will be more beautiful. He will always be assisted by the upazila administration.
