Kushtia Corona Dedicated Hospital logged 18 more fatalities

18 more people died in the last 24 hours at the Corona Dedicated Hospital in Kushtia, among these, 14 died of Covid-19 and 4 died with symptoms.
They succumbed to the Covid-19, symptoms while undergoing treatment at the hospital from Saturday (July 31) 8 am to Sunday 8 am.
Dr. MA Momen, the caretaker of the Kushtia General Hospital, confirmed the matter.
Till 9 am on Sunday, 243 people were admitted to the 200-bed Corona unit, among these, 191 people were admitted with Covid-19 and 52 people were admitted with symptoms, according to hospital sources.
Meanwhile, 181 people were detected with coronavirus in the sample test of 533 people, bringing the overall caseload to 14,416. Besides, the Covid-19 death toll stood at 567.
The DC office sources said the Covid-19 detection rate in Kushtia is 33.95 percent.
Currently, there are 3,068 active COVID patients in Kushtia, of these, 250 people are treating at the hospital and 2,818 are in home isolation.
