Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam has said that South Korea will give scanning machines to detect any virus, including coronavirus to Bangladesh.

Cabinet meetings were held at the Prime Minister’s Office on Monday. After the meeting, he said this in response to reporters’ queries at the secretariat.

Replying to a question about whether there was any discussion on the coronavirus at the cabinet meeting, Khandaker Anwarul Islam said that it was being discussed regularly. However, there was no specific discussion today. Discussions were held yesterday and Thursday.

The secretary said, “We are being given a scanning system from Korea which can be detected any virus. If it succeeds, then the situation will be better. They will give it for free.”

Mentioning that these will set up in all airports, he said, “We have not received the letter yet.”
