Iran has become disillusioned due to coronavirus which first recorded in China. Every day death toll from coronavirus cases rise in Iran. Meanwhile, the country's Coronavirus Control Committee said more alarming news. 

A close adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei died Monday of the coronavirus while undergoing treatment at a hospital in the capital Tehran at the age of 71.

Expediency Council member Mohammad Mirmohammadi died at a Tehran hospital, becoming the first top official to succumb to the illness in the Islamic Republic, which has the highest death toll outside China.

Recently, Eraz Harrisi, head of the country's Coronavirus Control Committee, and five other MPs, including Vice President Masoumeh Ebtekar, have been infected. Parliament member Mohammad Ali Ramjani died of coronavirus last Friday.

US news agency AP said Iran comfirm 978 coronavirus cases and death toll rises to 54 which is highest outside China.

Coronavirus has been infected in several Middle Eastern countries. Health experts have expressed concern over the death rate for coronavirus in Iran.
