BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia, who recently infected with coronavirus, is being taken to Evercare Hospital in Bashundhara residential area for CT scan.
Khaleda Zia left her rented house 'Firoza' in Gulshan for Evercare Hospital at around 9:16 pm on Thursday.
Khaleda Zia was accompanied by her personal physician and party vice chairman Dr. Zahid Hossain, Dr. Abdullah Al Mamun and her lawyer and party joint secretary general Mahbub Uddin Khokon and housemaid Fatema.
Asked if Khaleda Zia could be admitted to Evercare Hospital in the capital, her personal doctor Dr Mamun told Daily Bangladesh that it was not yet decided. The decision will be taken after receiving her test report.
Earlier in the afternoon, the medical team went to visit Khaleda Zia at her Gulshan's resident to know her physical condition. FM Siddiqi, head of her personal medical team told reporters after visiting the BNP chief at her Gulshan residence today that Khaleda Zia's physical condition is good. The blood and other test reports were normal and a CT scan will be conducted very soon, he said.
