Khaleda Zia admitted to CCU

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia has been shifted to the CCU (Coronary Care Unit) of Evercare Hospital in the capital following sudden breathing problems.
She was taken to the CCU from the cabin around 2.30pm on Monday.
Khaleda Zia's personal physician and BNP vice chairman Professor Dr AZM Zahid Hossain confirmed this information to Daily Bangladesh.
"We have taken Khaleda Zia to CCU as her breathing problem has suddenly increased," he said. Now her physical condition is a little better.
Earlier, on April 11, Khaleda Zia tested positive for coronavirus. From then on, she was given treatment at her Gulshan resident 'Firojaya' under the guidance of Professor FM Siddiqui, her personal physician. Khaleda Zia was tested for the second time after 14 days. But she was tested positive for the time being.
On April 27, Khaleda Zia was taken to Evercare Hospital from her Gulshan home for some tests. He was later admitted to the hospital on the advice of doctors after undergoing several tests including CT scan. She has been undergoing treatment there ever since.
Meanwhile, a 10-member medical board has been formed for Khaleda Zia's treatment, headed by Professor Shahabuddin Talukder.
