Kalabagan Krira Chakra president on 10-day remand

Kalabagan Krira Chakra president Shafiqul Islam Firoz was granted a 10-day remand in two separate cases over the seizure of illegal weapons and new color yaba tablets. 

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mahmuda Akhter issued the order after a hearing on Saturday afternoon. 

Earlier, Feroz was produced before the court and the police applied for a 20-day remand. 

After the hearing, the court granted a 10-day remand. 

Metropolitan Magistrate Mahmuda Akhter granted five days remand in the Arms Act case and five days in the drug case.

Investigation Officer Dhanmondi Model Police Station SI Md Noor Uddin and SI Ashikur Rahman of the same police station produced Firoz before the court in a case of the drug control law. 

Later, in the interest of a proper investigation of the case, they applied for 10 days remand for 20 days for identification of illegal firearms, drug source and others involved.

The RAB launched a drive at 8:30 pm on Friday. From there, the president of Kalabagan Krira Chakra was arrested with a special type of yellow-colored yaba tablets.
