The leaders of Bangladesh Awami Jubo League's newly-formed committee has paid homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
They paid the tributes by laying a floral wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu in front of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi in the capital at 7:30 am on Sunday.
After paying the tribute, Jubo League Chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash said that Jubo League will be formed as a humanitarian organization. Jubo League has taken an oath to bring back the lost tradition and keep the image intact. The newcomers to the organization will stand beside the people. The executive committee of Jubo League will follow Bangabandhu's ideology to build a non-communal Bangladesh.
General Secretary Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil said the Jubo League would be strengthened from the grassroots. Besides, it will be an ideal organization for the people of Bangladesh.
A 201-member full-fledged committee of Jubo League, the youth wing of ruling Awami League, was announced at the Awami League president’s Dhanmondi political office on Saturday.
