Journalist Muzakkir killing: PBI inspects murder`s crime scene

The officials of the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) have inspected the murder scene of journalist Borhan Uddin Muzakkir who was killed in a shooting between two factions of Awami League at Companiganj in Noakhali five days ago. 

On Wednesday afternoon, the investigation team first went to the crime scene at Chaprashirhat East Bazar and then to the house of the deceased. Officials spoke to family members of the victim, locals and police personnel working during the clashes.

The investigation team was led by Mizanur Rahman Munshi, PBI superintendent of police, Noakhali and the Investigating Officer of the case, Inspector Mostafizur Rahman, was present at the time. 

Earlier, the murder case filed by the victim's father has been handed over to the PBI on Tuesday night. 

PBI Noakhali Superintendent of Police Mizanur Rahman Munshi said, "We have inspected the scene and talked to the local people and will try to submit a report as soon as possible."
