Journalist Maksud’s body being taken to National Press Club

The body of veteran columnist, researcher, and writer Syed Abul Maksud is being taken to the National Press Club in the capital to pay homage.
The coffin of his body will be taken there at 2:30 pm on Wednesday. Journalists will take part in a Namaz-e-Janaza after paying tributes to him.
This information has been confirmed by Syed Nasif Maksud, son of Syed Abul Maksud.
He said the body of Syed Abul Maksud would be taken to the Central Shaheed Minar to pay homage after the Namaz-e-Janaza at the National Press Club. After paying homage by the commuters there, another Namaz-e-Janaza will be held at the Central Jame Mosque of Dhaka University. He will be buried at Azimpur Cemetery in the afternoon.
Journalist Syed Abul Maksud was taken to Square Hospital in the capital on Tuesday afternoon when he suddenly started having breathing difficulty. There the doctors declared him dead.
