John Kerry, Special Envoy for Climate for United States President Joe Biden
United States President Joe Biden’s Special Envoy for Climate John Kerry is arriving in Dhaka today to invite Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for a climate conference on April 22-23. He was the country’s former Secretary of State.
John Kerry, who is visiting India, will arrive in Dhaka on a special flight from Delhi on Friday. While staying in Dhaka for a few hours, he will meet Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen. Later, John will have a meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
According to sources, climate issues will be the main topic of discussion during John Kerry’s visit to Dhaka. A conference on climate issues has been organized in the United States on April 22-23. John Kerry is visiting Dhaka to invite Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to that conference.
This climate conference will be organized virtually with the participation of heads of the state or government of 40 countries in the United States. John Kerry is bringing an invitation letter in-person to ensure the participation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
