JaPa to start nomination paper sale Sunday

Jatiya Party will formally start selling nomination papers on Sunday to their aspirant candidates who want to contest upcoming by-polls in Rangpur-3 constituency. The parliamentary seat remained vacant after JP chairman and also opposition leader of the House Ershad died on July 14.
The information was given in a press briefing signed by Sunil Shubhra, the party's press and political secretary, on Saturday evening.
It is said in the notice that an 8-member parliamentary board has been constituted to nominate candidates. The parliamentary board has been formed by convening party chairman Golam Mohammad Quader and general secretary of the party, Mosiur Rahman Ranga.
Other members of the parliamentary board are Presidium Member Kazi Firoz Rashid MP, Ghulam Kibria Tipu MP, Advocate Sheikh Sirajul Islam, Mahmudul Islam Chowdhury, Barrister Shamim Haider Patwari MP and Lieutenant General (retd) Md. Masood Uddin.
Nomination forms will be distributed from Office of the Chairman of the Jatiya Party for Rangpur-3 vacant seat in Banani tomorrow.
