Deprecated nominators protested at Ershad’s office

JaPa presidium member Sentu resigns

Presidium member and General Secretary of Dhaka North Metropolitan of Jatiya Party (JaPa), Shafiqul Islam Sentu announced the resignation from the party for not being nominated for the 11th parliamentary elections.  

He made the announcement at the Banani office of the JaPa chairman on Thursday. 

In the meantime, the deprecated nominators continued to protest in front of the office. They gave different types of slogans against party Secretary General. 

They also gave slogans against the Secretary General by making allegations of selling party’s fixed seats to Awami League candidates.

During the protest, the leaders and activists protested against party chairman Ershad, holding the chairman cornered and do not let GM Kader for managing the party
