JU’s all halls reopen

Students were given masks, hand sanitizers, food and flowers at the entrance of the halls of Jahangirnagar University (JU) on Monday (October 11) morning
18 months later, all the residential halls of Jahangirnagar University (JU) have been reopened. As a result, the students have started coming to the hall from Monday (October 11) morning. In this case, students need to take at least one jab of the COVID vaccine. Students who could not take the vaccine jab – will be able to get the vaccine from the university.
It can be seen on the spot that students are given masks, hand sanitizers, food and flowers at the entrance of the hall. Students have to enter the halls by showing the one jab of the coronavirus vaccine certificate. In some cases, students were also seen measuring the temperature before entering.
Meanwhile, a vaccine booth has been set up in front of the Wazed Mia Science Research Center of the university. The COVID vaccine roll-out was inaugurated around 10:30 am on Monday.
University students, teachers and staff can get the vaccine jab from this booth.
Earlier, the JU’s syndicate meeting on October 2 decided to open the halls on October 11. The university will start online classes as well as physical classes from October 21.
