Mohammad Monirul Islam, a student of Mymensingh Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University (JKKNIU), set Guinness World Record by plaing 50 pencils on a hand in 30 seconds

Mohammad Monirul Islam, a student of Mymensingh Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University (JKKNIU), has set a Guinness World Record by placing a maximum of 50 pencils on one hand in 30 seconds. 

Mohammad Monirul Islam, son of Zahirul Islam, a Qatari expatriate from Mirarchar village in Bhairab upazila of Kishoreganj, and a first-year student of Economics Department of JKKNIU.

After learning the matter from Guinness World Records’ YouTube and social media, Monirul has become a center of encouragement for parents and friends. After repeated attempts, he sent the video to the Guinness Book of World Records last June. Later, he got this recognition.

Meritorious Monirul set the world record by placing 50 pencils on one hand in just 30 seconds

Siam of Mirpur, Dhaka set a record of placing 40 pencils on hand in 30 seconds in the same category. Earlier, Silva, an Italian citizen, broke Siam’s record by placing 42 pencils on a hand in 30 seconds. Breaking their record, Monirul Islam is now included on the Guinness Book of World Records by placing 50 pencils on one hand in 30 seconds.

About this, Monirul Islam said he wanted to make a name for himself to the world, as a result, he chose the category of ‘placing pencils on a hand in 30 seconds and saw success after a long preparation. “Then I decided to apply to the official website of Guinness Book. Two months later, the Guinness Book of World Records informed me via email that my application had been accepted.” 

Monirul added that they asked me to send a video of the record, as per that, I sent the video. On September 21, the Guinness Book of World Records said in an email that my record had been successful. “I am now a world record holder in this category. They said the certificate will be sent in a few months,” he said.
