Italy is going to resume flights with Bangladesh from October 8, after a long six-month hiatus between the two countries.

The Italian embassy in Dhaka confirmed the matter on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Italian embassy has informed the Bangladesh Foreign Ministry that Rome will not extend the ban on flights with Bangladesh that scheduled to end October 7.
This will reduce the long-term suffering of the citizens of the two countries while many Bangladeshi expatriates  will be able to return to their workplaces in Italy

According to the country's embassy, the aircraft must be operated in accordance with the rules of the Italian government, before boarding the plane all the people must go under coronavirus tests.

However,  Italy made the second phase of Covid-19 test compulsory for all passengers after landing the European country.
