Italian coach De Rossi hospitalized with coronavirus

Former Italian captain and national team technical coach Daniele De Rossi has been admitted to hospital with coronavirus or Covid-19, national team sources have confirmed.
Earlier, Covid-19 hit the Italian national team at the end of last month’s World Cup qualifiers.
The former AS Roma midfielder has played a fourth-highest 117 appearances for the Azzurri. De Rossi, along with three other coaching staff and several players on the team, was contracted the virus.
De Rossi, 38, is being monitored by doctors at the Roman Institute for Infectious Diseases as a precaution, Sky Sports reported.
Meanwhile, the national team players who have been diagnosed with Covid-19 are – Federico Bernardeschi, Leonardo Bonucci, Alessio Cragno, Vincenzo Grifo, Alessandro Florenzi, Marco Verratti, Matteo Pessina and Salvatore Sirigu.
Rossi joined Argentine club Boca Juniors for a short time in January after an 18-year playing career. Then last month he joined Roberto Mancini’s coaching staff.
