`It is possible to become developed country before 2041`

Mymensingh City Corporation Mayor Md. Ikramul Haque Titu said, if you want to do something for the country, you must be involved with the people. We have to move forward with the right action plan. If the ongoing flow of development under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina continues, it is possible to achieve the target of a developed country before 2041.
He said this while addressing a seminar titled 'Vision 2041: Developed and Prosperous Bangladesh' on the occasion of the golden jubilee of independence and transition from a least developed country to a developing country.
The mayor said no one has taken the effective and innovative initiative taken by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for the development of the country before. However, in order for the Prime Minister's initiative to be fruitful, terrorism, militancy and corruption must be prevented from one's position.
Mymensingh DC Mohammad Enamul Haque presided over the seminar where District Civil Surgeon Dr. ABM Mashiul Alam and Farid Ahmed, Director, Department of Environment spoke as special guests.
