The Iranian government has imposed censorship on scenes where a woman is eating pizza or a man is serving tea on a television show or in a movie. If any advertisement or show showing such scenes, it will be banned immediately.
Television producers and filmmakers have been warned about this. According to the new guidelines, a man serving tea to a woman in the office or leather gloves on the hands of women, these scenes can not be broadcasted.
Government officials in the country recently issued guidelines for broadcast channels and filmmakers after inspections, reports Iranware.
According to the website, Amir Hossein Shamshadi, chief public relations officer of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Broadcasting Department, said no woman could be shown “drinking red liquid” on television or a movie screen. Even the scene of eating sandwiches is also forbidden.
The government of the country is also reluctant to show any domestic scene. It has to be shown to the authorities before the broadcast, then they will decide. Due to such strict rules and avoid sanctions, many organizations have resorted to self-censorship.
Movie lovers say that Iran has a very “advanced position” in making realistic films around the world. Now it is going to fade. New strict rules are not at all conducive to the development of the country’s art.
