Internet, Cable TV network shutdown prog postponed

Internet Service Providers Association of Bangladesh (ISPAB) and Cable Operators Association of Bangladesh (COAB) have postponed the decision to shut down cable TV and internet services.
At a zoom meeting held on Saturday, the two associations announced the suspension.
The announcement was made by ISPAB President Aminul Hakim, Secretary General Imdadul Haque and COAB’s Founding President SM Anwar Parvez.
Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh will sit in a meeting with ISPAB and COAB on Sunday. And from this meeting, they are hoping that a permanent solution will come about the removal of the hanging cables.
Earlier, ISPAB and COAB had announced a program to disconnect internet and cable TV network in the capital from 10am to 1pm on Sunday in protest of its removal.
