Instruction to form quick response team for health workers

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has issued instructions to form a quick response team to provide overall support to doctors, nurses and health workers infected by coronavirus due to performing their duties in different hospitals.
Recently, the directive has been issued through a letter signed by Abdus Salam, Deputy Secretary of Health Services Division (Administration-2 Branch) of the ministry.
A responsible official of the Ministry of Health said that doctors, nurses and health workers are being infected every day while treating patients infected with the coronavirus. They have been instructed to form a quick response team to ensure their proper treatment.
According to the latest figures from the Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) on July 1, at least 1,613 doctors, 1,320 nurses and 1,868 health workers across the country, including the capital, have been infected with the coronavirus.
