Institution heads asked to ensure students` homestay

The heads of the educational institutions have been instructed to ensure that students stay at their respective residences during the holidays.
A notification from the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education gave this instruction.
The headmaster has been asked to ensure that students are studying textbooks at home during the ongoing pandemic.
Meanwhile, all types of public-private primary school and kindergarten holidays have been extended till January 30 to protect students from coronavirus infection.
The notification further said that the local administration will closely monitor the location of the students' accommodation.
The notification also asked the students to abide by the instructions and directives issued from time to time by the Prime Minister's Office, Cabinet Division, Ministry of Public Administration, and Health Services Department.
