Indian teenage TV actor killed in road crash

A teenage TV actor Shivlekh Singh was killed in a road accident. The 14-year-old Shivlekh is the popular face of the Hindi television serial.  

The incident took place at Chhattisgarh’s suburban Dharshiwa around 3:00 am on Thursday night. 

“Shivlekh died on the spot. His father Shivendra and his mother, Lekhona Singh, and Nabin Singh, a relative of them were injured. Lekhona Singh’s condition is alarming,” said Raipur police super Arif Sheikh.  

According to Family sources, Shivlekh was going from Bilaspur to Raipur for an interview. On the way, a truck hit their car from behind. An investigation is underway to determine whether the truck changed lanes or whether Shivlekh’s car lost control. The search for the missing truck driver has been going on since the accident. 

Singh family, a resident of Janjgir-Champa district in Chhattisgarh were living in Mumbai for the last ten years. Shivlekh had acted in several TV serials including ‘Sankatmochan Hanuman’, and ‘Sasural Simar Ka’. He had also appeared in TV reality shows.
