After winning the toss at the Sydney Showground Stadium Australia, captain Meg Lanning has invited India to bat first in the opening match of the seventh edition of Women's T20 World Cup.

The Indian women's team was lost to Australia in the tri-series finale a few days ago. There will also be a chance to avenge that defeat in front of Harmanpreet Kaur 's team.

The match will start at two in Bangladesh time. The match can be viewed live on the Star Sports Network. Also, live online streaming can be seen on Hotstar.

The Australian girls have won the title four times in the six editions of the competition. They are going to the field for the fifth time in a bid to cheer for the title. India, on the other hand, India has yet to reach the title.
