‘Improve railway services within a month’

Expressing dissatisfaction with the rail management, irregularities and passenger services in Kamalapur Railway Station, Railway Minister Nurul Islam Sujon said, “If the quality of passenger service is not improved within a month, action will be taken against that are in charge.”
The ticket sales, cleanliness, and the passengers’ quality must be improved of Kamalapur railway station, he said while visiting Kamalapur Railway Station on Tuesday.
Referring to the increase in the value of railway passenger services using information technology, the Railway Minister said that on April 5 he will again visit Kamalapur Railway Station. “If the quality of the service is not improved in the station, action will be taken against those responsible.”
To prevent the black market of tickets, tickets are now to be getting through the display of National Identity Card on non-stop Sonar Bangla Train of Dhaka-Chittagong. Responding to a question, the Railway Minister said, “In the phases, all the tickets of the intercity train will be got by showing the National Identity Card.”
