United States President Donald Trump
As the election approaches, United States President Donald Trump has begun to self-publicity. Now he claims that his government doing an outstanding job in dealing with the Covid-19 outbreak in the country.
Again, Trump thinks that India’s coronavirus infection rate has become a big problem and did not mention to forget that the virus is spreading in China like wildfire. The US President also pointed out that the situation in other countries is also bad.
But even as Trump claims, the statistics say otherwise. In the last 24 hours, about 52,000 people have been infected with coronavirus in India. So far, the total number of virus cases has exceeded 1.855 million. In China, 38 new Covid-19 cases have been reported where the death toll is 84,464. However, in the United States, the number of deadly virus victims is 48,63,77,000 – means there is a huge gap with the other countries.
But Trump said, “We are doing better than any other country in dealing with coronavirus. None of the other countries are close to us.”
More than 6 million people in the United States tested for the virus. The condition of the hotspots in the south and west has improved. The number of weekly infections in Arizona has dropped by 37 percent where 18.7 percent in Texas and 21.2 percent in Florida. The number of cases has dropped in 17 states, including New York and New Jersey. The positive rate has also decreased, he also said.
“Look at the news, many countries thought they had eradicated the virus. But not at all,” Trump said.
Urging the countrymen to abide by the hygiene rules, Trump said the lockdown will not stop coronavirus. The real goal of the lockdown is to create time for hospital infrastructure development.
Now the Americans have to return work by complying with the health rules. The schools will open with caution. Besides, the vaccine will be available in the market soon, Donald Trump mentioned.
