IPL playoff schedule fixed

The league session of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is over. Now the fight for the knockout part will start. The four teams in the playoffs have reached the final stage after 56 matches.

Delhi had earlier secured the number one spot in the league table. Chennai Super Kings finished the league from number two. Royal Challengers Bangalore are at number three and Kolkata Knight Riders are at number four.

Mumbai Indians won their last match on Friday and collected 14 points like Kolkata. However, due to falling behind in net run rate, they have to drop out of the tournament. RCB lost the last match to Delhi and ended the league session with 16 points like Chennai. However, they have to play eliminator as they are behind in net run rate.

The number one team Delhi Capitals and the second place Chennai Super Kings will play in the first qualifier. Before that, take a look at the play-off schedule of IPL 2021 – 

First qualifier:

Delhi Capitals vs Chennai Super Kings
October 10, Sunday, 8 pm, Dubai.

Eliminator:

Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Kolkata Knight Riders
October 11, Monday, 8 pm, Sharjah.

Second Qualifier:

The losing team in the first qualifier vs. the winning team in the eliminator
October 13, Wednesday, 8 pm, Sharjah.

Final:

Winner of First Qualifier vs. Winner of Second Qualifier
October 15, Friday, 8 pm, Sharjah.
