IPL auction likely on February 18: BCCI

The Indian Premier League (IPL) players’ auction ahead of the 2021 season is likely to be held on February 18. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed the matter.
Eight teams of the league have submitted the final list of players to the board. The BCCI has planned a mini-auction for the upcoming IPL in February.
However, it has not been announced yet at which venues this year’s event will be held.
“The auction will be held on February 18. The venue is yet to be decided,” the official said.
The 13th edition was held in the UAE in September-November this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
