Veteran actor Saleh Ahmed died on Wednesday at 3:30 pm on Wednesday. Many of the showbiz stars mourn in the news of his death. In the early 90s, actress Meher Afroz Shaon started her acting career with Saleh Ahmed.

On Thursday, Shaon posted a status on her Facebook about the memorable work with Saleh Ahmed. 

She wrote, “I know the man since 1991 through working in a drama title ‘Janani’. We did so much work together! He played my father’s role in ‘Sharbon Megher Din’ film. He was quite a humorous man. He told us many stories. Even a normal story became a rhetorical story. Humayun Ahmed was a fan of his story. He was a fan of his acting.”

“‘Pushpo, tumi pyrevat e gaan koro?’ when he said the dialogue from the TV series title ‘Ure Jay Bakpakkhi’, his face, his gesture- still floating in front of the eyes. He was in bed for a long time. Most Gracious has ended his suffering. Saleh uncle… Now tell story with Humayun...,” she also wrote.
