15.2 - West Indies 101/1. Powell c Imrul b Nazmul 43 (49)

Against the run of play, West Indies skipper Rovman Powell is caught off BCB XI left-arm spinner Nazmul Islam for 43 off 49 balls.

West Indies 101/0 in 15 overs

Rovman Powell 43 off 47 balls, Shai Hope 52 off 43

Soumya Sarkar: 1-0-6-0

Mehedi Hasan Rana: 3-0-29-0

West Indies opener Shai Hope cracked a 41-ball 50 as the tourists roared to 101 without loss in 15 overs. Hope hit young left-arm seamer Mehedi Hasan Rana for two sixes in the 14th over, but the youngster may have been unlucky not to have taken Hope's wicket after being hit for the first maximum as the umpire denied an appeal for caught behind. It was a slower ball and there seemed to be a sound when the ball passed the bat through to the wicketkeeper.

West Indies 56/0 in 10 overs

Rovman Powell 25 off 30 balls, Shai Hope 29 off 30 balls

Mehedi Rana: 1-0-8-0, Rubel Hossain 5-0-26-0

West Indies skipper Rovman Powell and Shai Hope got going in the warm-up match against BCB XI as the tourists romped to 56 without loss after 10 overs in the BKSP in Savar. Bangladesh ODI skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, playing his first competitive game since the third ODI against Zimbabwe in late October, was hit for three boundaries in his fourth over. That spoiled his figures somewhat after keeping a tight leash in his first three overs, which went for just eight runs. He now has four overs for 20 runs.

West Indies 24/0 in 6 overs

Rovman Powell 12, Shai Hope 11

Rubel Hossain: 3-0-17-0

Mashrafe Bin Mortaza: 3-0-6-0

The West Indies batsmen got off to a quiet start as ODI skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, in particular, kept a tight leash on things with the new ball after West Indies chose to bat first in the 50-over warm-up game against BCB XI at the BKSP. West Indies skipper Rovman Powell has opened with Shai Hope.
