Renowned composer and music director Ali Hossain has passed away (Inna lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un).
He breathed his last at a hospital in the United States on Tuesday (February 16).
Ali Hossain’s family confirmed the death of the music director.
Ali Hossain was a shining star in the music world of Bangladesh. Numerous timeless songs of Bengali films have been created by his hands.
His notable popular songs are ‘Holud Bato Mehendi Bato’, ‘Chaturi Jane Na Mor Badhua’, ‘Ashru Diye Lekha E Gan Jeno Vule Jeyo Na’, ‘E Akhaske Sakkhi Rekhe E Batashke Sakkhi Rekhe,’ ‘Ke Tumi Ele Go Amar E Jobone’, etc.
