Holiday’s extended until April 25

The government has decided to extend the general holidays again, that was announced to prevent coronavirus transmission and was extended to April 11 in the second round. Now, the decision was made to expand it up to April 23. And, the weekly holidays on April 24 and 25 are being added with it. A notification has been issued regarding the general holiday extension for forth time.

The  Ministry of Public Administration has issued a notification on Friday.

Sources said that there will be a general holiday on April 15 and 16. Then there will be weekly holidays on April 17 and 18. Later, the general holiday will be from April 19 to 23.

Earlier, the government declared a holiday in the first round from March 26 to April 4 due to coronavirus.

In the second round, the holiday was extended up to April 11. The third round was followed by a general holiday on April 12 and 13, and the following day is the Pahela Baishakh holiday on April 14.

In the fourth round today, the holiday has been extended to April 25.
