Health Minister for bringing vaccine within ‘4 days’

Health Minister Zahid Maleque on Saturday said an agreement would be reached with the manufacturing company to bring the COVID vaccine within four days.
He made the remark said while addressing a relief distribution function at Shuvro Center at Garpara in Manikganj Sadar Upazila in the afternoon. The relief was given to 1,000 people affected and became jobless due to coronavirus.
While COVID has increased in Europe, it may also increase in the country’s winter season, said Health Minister, mentioned that “the number of deaths in COVID has already started increasing again in different countries of the world.”
The death toll in the United States has exceeded 2.5 lakhs. However, the death rate in Bangladesh is still relatively low, he added.
Mentioning that the health sector of the country is good, Zahid Maleque said that the people of the country are healthy as they have followed the hygiene rules. The government has helped 4 crore people. All the factories have been opened to keep the economic situation afloat, he also said.
