Metropolitan DB police (Detective) informed that in the case of a class 9 student Aritree Odhikar's suicide of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College, The arrested class teacher Hasna Hena will be sent to Dhaka's Chief city magistrate court this noon.

Metropolitan Detective Police Deputy Commissioner Khandaker Nurunnabi told the media on Thursday.

Earlier on Wednesday night, Hasina Hena was arrested from a hotel in Uttara area at about 11 pm, Motijheel Zonal Team of AC Atiq of DB West Zone. Later, he was taken to the DB office, said police.

On the other hand, on Tuesday night, Aritree's father Dilip Adhikari filed a case against three teachers of Viqarunnisa School in Paltan Police Station. Later, the detective police were given the responsibility to investigate the case. On Wednesday evening, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (Intelligence) got the responsibility to investigate the case.

It is learned that the provocation of Suicide is proved, the accused Acting Principal Najinin Ferdous and shift in charge of Pravati branch Jinnat Akhtar, may be arrested.

After getting the investigation into the case, DB police (detective) has collected footage of CCTV cameras of the day. They talked to the teacher and the family of Aritree. The accused have been kept under surveillance, police said. On the afternoon of the incident, the Ministry of Education sent a letter to the Director General of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and the Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner regarding this issue.

In this letter, the institution’s acting principal Najinin Ferdous, branch chief Zainat Akhtar and class teacher Hasna Henara were asked to take legal action.

In addition, the letter was also sent to the Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board to take part in the departmental arrangements against them, including those three teachers.

The letter was also given to the Director General of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education. The three teachers who were accused in this order were asked to take action to stop the salary.

A class nine student Aritree has gone on Monday after the suicide, the excitement is going on in the capital's renowned educational institute. Students and guardians are protesting against the allegations. They demanded a proper trial of the incident. Hundreds of students protested at the main gate of the Bailey Road branch on Wednesday morning. Many parents joined them.
