Today, September 19, is the birthday of hero Salman Shah, the short-lived superstar of romantic movies in Bangladesh. If he had survived, Salman Shah would have turned 49 this time.

To this day, Salman Shah’s name is uttered with a sigh in the hearts of movie lovers. On September 6, 1996, Salman Shah passed keeping innumerable fans wept. Luckily, he was born and died in the same month.

Everyone who has come to be a hero in post-Salman Shah films has said, still says - Salman Shah was their main source of inspiration.

Salman Shah was born in 1971 in Zakiganj upazila of Sylhet. His father is Komar Uddin Chowdhury and his mother is Neela Chowdhury. He was the eldest son of the family.

Notable films starring Salman Shah were released in 1993 from Resurrection to Resurrection, Den Mohar, I Want You. Protests and tears of joy were released in 1994, obtained from Chawa, will be judged. Released in 1995 is Jibon Sansar, Maha Milon, Swapner Prithibi, Swapner Adhar, Ei Ghar Ei Sansar.
