HSC results by Jan 28: Cabinet secy

Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam today said that the results of HSC and equivalent examinations will be published by January 28. 

He gave this information while briefing the reporters after the Cabinet meeting on Monday.

Earlier this year, the cabinet approved a proposal to amend the Secondary and Higher Education Board Act to publish the HSC and equivalent examinations result under special arrangements. Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni informed the media about this after the meeting.

Earlier, a Cabinet meeting was held presided over by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The Prime Minister attended the meeting virtually from the Ganobhaban in the capital.  

At the meeting, the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Act was raised to amend.
