Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni has said that the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations 2020 will be published in December.
She said this while speaking to reporters at a press conference on admission in government and private schools from class I to VIII this afternoon.
Over reopening schools, the education minister said it depends on the situation of coronavirus. But whenever the class starts, everyone has to follow some hygiene rules at the beginning. In that case, everyone may not have classes all day. However, more emphasis will be given to SSC and HSC students in class. They will probably attain classes all day except one day.
Earlier, the education minister said the results of this year's HSC and its equivalent examinations would be published on the basis of JSC and SSC and equivalent examination results.
Dipu Moni further said that at present only the Class-I admission process is being done by lottery. However, due to the ongoing coronavirus situation, parents will not be able to be physically present during the lottery as before.
