HC stays Primary recruitment test result of 14 districts

The High Court today stayed the primary recritment exams final result of 14 districts today.
Those are- Patuakhali, Madaripur, Sirajganj, Naogaon, Chapainawabganj, Habiganj, Mymensingh, Netrokona, Noakhali, Jashore, Satkhira, Tangail, Barguna and Thakurgaon.
The High Court bench headed by Justice Sheikh Hasan Arif passed the order on Monday.
Advocate Md. Asad Uddin hearing for the writpettioner while Deputy Attorney General Bipul Bagmar stood for the state.
On January 19, Afrin Juthi, Nazmun Nahar, along with 46 others, filed a writ petition in the High Court.
According to the law, Section 7 of the Primary School Teacher Recruitment Rule-2013 states that 60 percent of the direct appointments under this rule will be filled by female candidates while 20 percent by dependent candidates and the remaining 20 percent by male candidates.
The results declared on December 24 did not follow the provisions of the law. Therefore, a writ petition was filed with the High Court seeking validity of the result. After hearing the writ, the court adjourned the results and issued a rule.
